COST - CLUB MEMBERSHIP vs. BOAT OWNERSHIP

Joining the club costs less than buying a boat. Club dues start at just $199 per month. The dues include unlimited boat usage and guaranteed reservations plus complimentary use of the club's water toys. Our ONE-TIME membership fees start at $995. The only other cost is replacing the fuel that is used during your outing. Dollar for dollar, boat clubs are simply a better deal - and a much more trouble-free way to enjoy the water.

Time and Money:

Boat owners in the United States use their boats an average of 15 times annually (NMMA). Therefore, based on the monthly expenses listed above, it will cost the average boat owner somewhere between $500-$800 per use.

In order to properly maintain a boat in clean and safe operating conditions, 1-to-2 hours per outing should be spent on covering/uncovering, cleaning, and maintenence. Additionally, a boat should be serviced every season by a qualified service technician.

Boat owners who have to trailer their boat will spend 2½ to 3 hours per outing preparing the boat, launching, loading, and stowing the boat.
